His or her post is largely ceremonial. The&nbsp;chief minister&nbsp;is the head of government and is vested with most of the executive powers.&nbsp;Raipur&nbsp;is the capital of Chhattisgarh, and houses the&nbsp;Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha&nbsp;(Legislative Assembly) and the secretariat.
